 Introduction  Congratulations on your engagement! My name is Melissa Dodd and I am an Authorised Civil Marriage Celebrant under the Laws of the Commonwealth of Australia. In 2008 I was married to my longstanding partner and I can honestly say that our Wedding Day was the most significant moment in our lives. The Wedding Ceremony in particular was so important to my husband and I as it encapsulated the love and commitment we have towards each other. I would love to share the joy I experienced at my wedding with you by helping to plan, organise and deliver your Wedding Ceremony as your Celebrant. - I am able to offer innovative and unique wedding ceremonies, either traditional or non-traditional, according to your wishes. Although some phrases must be included to satisfy legal requirements, I like to individualise each ceremony by weaving the uniqueness of the bride and groom's love, background, and personal circumstances throughout.
- I also take great pleasure in interviewing each couple to 'get to know them', to establish their ideas, their hopes, and their choice of wording, as well as make suggestions to assist them in achieving the perfect format for their individual needs. These could be as diverse as unusual rituals, religious readings, or special blessings to make their ceremony unique, memorable and - most important - relevant to their relationship.
